SD Trading is preffered supplier of Sail Amsterdam 2015!
SAIL Amsterdam is the largest free public nautical event in the world. The first event was hosted in 1975 as part of the celebrations marking Amsterdam’s 700th jubilee. After the SAIL Amsterdam Foundation was established in 1977 SAIL has been returning to Amsterdam’s waterways every five years to showcase the city’s marine legacy.
This year the event takes place in and around the Amsterdam’s IJ-haven from Wednesday 19 August until Sunday 23 August 2015.
During the five days long event the waterways of Amsterdam will be filled with a fleet of Tall Ships, maritime heritage, naval ships and impressive replicas. Every day of the event offers a varied program of cultural and sporting activities. During the festivities, Amsterdam will become a food haven with food trucks and other food vendors offering delicious food and drinks to the participants and spectators. SD Trading are honored to be an official partner of SAIL 2015 and to be the preferred supplier of sustainable disposables to all the food and beverage vendors this year.
