Throwback to Gastronomie 2014

Last week, a very successful fourth edition of the “Gastronomie” fair in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht took place. Many famous chefs and celebrities in the gastronomic world including Schilo van Coevorden, Rogér Rassin, Keng Vichianrat, Albert Adrià and our very own Ivo Niehe attended the event. Their workshops and shows attracted many customers to the Jaarbeurs.
Just like during the previous editions, the visitors were pampered at the Gastronomie 2014 with  some incredible creations of inspiring masterchefs, presenting their latest cooking techniques. SD Trading proudly provided the natural tableware for this.
Another exciting aspect of Gastronomie 2014 was the awarding of the ‘Young Chef of the Year’. This year’s winner is the 22-year old Wayne Kropman, known for the pastry dishes he serves at star Restaurant Sense in Den Bosch.
